I returned to Black Iron Nutrition after taking some time off to address some personal health issues. I mainly wanted to manage my symptoms by tracking and have accountability because I thought that I couldn’t return to strength training or any of the movements I used to do before getting diagnosed.
Well, it turns out I was wrong in the best way. My coach Manders allowed me to have my off days, but then reminded me to keep pushing for more. I learned that all the things I thought I couldn’t do anymore, I could do gradually. I am now feeling stronger and more confident with my body and how it operates during certain times, especially when I am not feeling my best. The amount of encouragement I received throughout this process was relieving. I would recommend BIN for anyone; you don’t need to be an athlete to find results in your day-to-day, whatever that entails for you.
