  • Absolutely. We offer free consultation calls where you can discuss your needs and goals with one of our coaches, learn about our personalized programs, get a tour of our software, and receive guidance on selecting the best coach to help you succeed. Book a Free Consultation Call

  • Yes, we do! We've worked with thousands of clients across every demographic. Whether you're an elite athlete, a busy parent, wanting to lose weight, or just looking to improve your health markers, we have a coach that will fit your needs and help you accomplish your goals.

  • You can still select a coach with a waitlist from the application form. You will receive an email letting you know that you've been added to that coach’s waitlist, and you will be notified again when they have an opening. It's difficult for us to give a time frame on how long the wait will be as it's very dependent on when a coach has a cancellation.

  • We understand that it can be hard to choose a coach and/or program, and we want the best fit for you. If at any point you or your coach feel like there might be a better fit, we are happy to assist. Your coach can help with the transition or you can email us at, admin@blackironnutrition.com.

  • There is only a wait if you have your heart set on working with a specific coach. Otherwise, you can apply for coaching and we'll be sure to pair you with one of our coaches who fits your needs and relates to your goals best. If you have selected to be put on the waitlist it could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months depending on the specific coach and when they receive a cancellation.

  • Of course not! Here at Black Iron Nutrition, we believe that knowledge is power and we are about teaching you how to eat, not telling you what to eat. If we told you what to eat every day for months straight, what would you do after us? The entire point of BIN is to empower you to the point of never needing another nutrition coach again. That being said, while you won’t receive a meal plan, you will receive an insane amount of tools that will teach you how to create your own meal plan successfully with the macros and skills we give you.

  • No, you do not. We're in the business of creating healthy dietary changes, and although a workout program can be an added benefit to leading a healthy lifestyle, it's not a requirement to working with us.

  • The following diary-tracking apps directly sync with our software: Cronometer, Fitbit, MacrosFirst, MyFitnessPal, MyMacros+, and Nutracheck.

    If your preferred app is not listed above, you may connect it to Apple Health or Google Fit and authorize our app to read your health data, however, only your macronutrient and caloric data will be visible to your coach in your check-in. If you do not wish to switch to an app that syncs with our software, you may discuss sharing your full log with your coach by providing screenshots, or a file export.

    When it comes to wearables, you can directly connect, Fitbits, Oura Rings, and Whoop devices.

    If your wearable syncs with Apple Health, or Google Health, for example, Amazfit, Apple Watch, Garmin, Google, Samsung, etc., you can sync our app with the applicable health tracking software.

  • All of our coaching services are nutrition ONLY and do not come with a workout or training program. If you would like to add on a training program you can subscribe to one of them here: Black Iron Training

  • We have a fully integrated software platform that you will log in to to communicate with your coach. You will submit weekly check-ins and receive feedback within 24 hours. You can also send your coach a message as needed. All communication is done through the messaging feature in our software. It’s important to us that all of our clients receive the same level of service, therefore we need to keep all communication in one place. This also allows you and your coach to quickly reference everything you’ve discussed at any point in time as needed. Phone calls and texting are not included in our service.

    We do have the option to add a monthly Zoom call for face-to-face time with your coach.

  • There are a lot of nutrition programs out there and it can be difficult to decide which one is the right fit for you. We pride ourselves on being educators. We have fully embraced the notion that each individual client needs to be educated and coached a very specific way, thus we supply the full package. Our coaching staff has an immense and diverse set of skills to which you have constant access to. They contribute regularly to our resource library and they're active in our community forums. BIN is about building a trusting relationship with your coach, your food, and yourself. We insist on communication, honesty, and transparency from our clients in order to ensure they receive an uplifting experience. And to set the tone, we ask that you tell us everything about yourself upon starting. The relationship starts by putting it all on the table.

  • Lite bridges that gap for the people short on money, time, or who simply just don’t need or want a coach’s weekly feedback. We’ve created the “in-between” to help add accountability while removing the guesswork for the people who are not working one-on-one with a coach for whatever reason. Instead of using a risky online algorithm, we take all your metrics into account not only at sign up but week after week.

    Our Lite track does not include communication with a coach between check-ins. Each week your coach will review your check in and you will receive an updated set of macros (if warranted) and a couple pieces of feedback. Most of the check in questions are shorter and only allow for a one-character response. Based on how your week went you will rank each question on a scale of 1-5 or with a Y/N answer.

  • To become a Black Iron Nutrition coach, you must first complete The Black Iron Nutrition Mentorship program which is currently closed. To learn more, please visit our careers page.

  • We do not offer any discounts at this time as we aim to keep all of our pricing as fair as possible for everyone.

  • No, it is not! We are happy to work with clients all over the world!

    Our only program which is solely limited to United States residents is Revivie. Revive is our Medical Nutritional Counseling program.

  • You can cancel at any time. Simply send your coach a message 3 business days prior to your bill date and they can take care of it for you. Please note that our Lite programs have a 3-month commitment minimum. After you’ve completed 3 months you may cancel at any time. Subscriptions and services are non-transferable and non-refundable and you are responsible for the full subscription fee in the billing cycle for which you cancel. All prices posted on our website are in US dollars.

    It is important to note that we do not offer the option to pause or refund services. If your career or job entails the possibility of remote work in areas with limited internet access, we highly recommend opting for a month-to-month subscription.
