Over the past year and a half I worked with my coach Acacia on finding balance in my life, restoring my relationship with food, and dialing things in when I needed too. Each week she was there to provide encouragement, support and guidance. But most importantly, she was understanding that no one is perfect and accepting those times and getting back on track after they happened without guilt or trying to over correct. BIN and Acacia taught me to accept that this is real life, and it won't always be perfect. And that food is a key part of social outings, relationships, and making memories that I should be able to take part in, while still reaching my goals. Thus helping me regain and create a positive relationship with food that I can carry with me.
