Black Iron Pelvic Floor + Core
Written by our Pelvic Floor Doctor of Physical Therapy (Coach Whitney Doiron), this program programs 3-4 days a week of Pelvic Floor + Core specific movements, breathing, pelvic girdle strengthening and balance training. We have a path for both Pregnant and Non-Pregnant people.
Pregnancy: starting at 6 wks, this program will build on the foundation for pelvic floor + core training, while also lending some room for slower movements towards the end. Coach Whitney has programmed out through 43 weeks to account for potential delay in delivery
Non-Pregnant: 1 year long and progressive so you can easily move up/down in the program as needed and feel the benefit of building on your skills
Whitney will provide educational information on how to monitor for proper pressure management in your core to help mitigate any potential issues.
Equipment: short and long bands recommended, weights, yoga mat, yoga block, pillow or ball.
