The difference between the progress pictures is insane to me. While I went into this hoping for some body comp changes, I honestly wasn’t expecting this in only 3 months. I went into this wanting to prove to myself I could stick with something for 12 weeks, and I am so damn proud of myself honestly.

Before joining BIN, I was unfamiliar with it, had never participated in a challenge of this nature, and had never worked with a nutrition coach. Throughout most of my adult life, I believed I had exhausted all avenues for weight loss: counting calories, trying various diets like WW, Keto, and Low Carb, but always encountering the same cycle of temporary success followed by weight regain.

A minor detail in my transformation is that I have lost a few pounds, about an inch off my waist, and a full clothing size, but the important detail is I have gained tremendous confidence. I have bought a new pair of jeans for the first time in years without it leading to tears and emotional eating. I feel confident in cute outfits, wanting to dress up and not just wear athleisure at all times.

Being able to shift my thought process from ‘when’ to ‘what/how’ really helped all those small details add up. Regarding food, I’m even more convinced that the good feelings I have for the food I eat no matter if it’s a donut or steamed broccoli—both mmmm!—are really important for success. I thought I didn’t have time for this sort of training, but with a little focus and planning so much was accomplished.
