I started with BIN right after Thanksgiving and chose Maggie as my coach based on the coach pairing quiz BIN offers. My story isn’t unique or special - I was the typical "I'll start tomorrow and I can out-exercise my lifestyle” type of person. I work in a travel job where I am eating out and on the go a lot and had also compounded my bad habits during COVID. I was unhappy, unhealthy, didn't like the person I had become and had finally gotten to my breaking point. I had been dabbling in macro eating/tracking food off and on for a few years; consistency was always my problem. Who knew all I needed was some outside accountability and having somebody in my corner like Maggie to drive some change. With just a little bit of consistency I saw what I would consider significant change over a few months. I am a totally different person than I was 6 months ago and I like to call myself Kelli 2.0 nowadays. While the physical change has been pretty astonishing, the mental change which nobody can see has been just as big. I am a glass half empty person by nature and I’m pretty hard on myself. I never heard the word “don’t” from Maggie once during this entire process, I only heard it from myself. Gone are the days of daily negative self talk, they are few and far in between now, which has helped my mindset and outlook tremendously. I am a happier, healthier, better version of my old self, I have learned to love myself again, and I’ve created some good habits I'll be practicing the rest of my life. I can’t say enough good things about BIN or thank Maggie enough for being my glass half full person, always finding the positive, pointing out the things I would never want to say or admit to myself, always providing the much needed nuggets of wisdom, and creating a great space for my journey which helped me to do things in a sustainable way for me. If I can do this, anybody can!
