TESTIMONIAL
Working with Ryann and BIN has helped completely changed my relationship with food. When I was younger, I was always athletic: I ran track and cross country, I had horses and was outside working at the barn or riding every day for hours on end. I never once had to think about what I was eating, because I was just constantly in motion. When I went to college and that all stopped, I gained a LOT more than the "freshman 15." When I got frustrated with my appearance, I started doing cardio constantly and restricting myself to 1200 calories a day. Of course, I lost the weight, but I was miserable doing it. Then I went to grad school, where I was basically 75% frozen dinners and 25% coffee and anxiety. After I graduated and started working, I began to realize just how badly I was treating my body. I knew that had to be contributing to how badly I felt, but I had no idea what I needed to do to "fix" it. I was following a lifting program, but I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. What I didn't realize was exactly how little I had become used to eating! Enter BIN & Ryann. In the past 6 months I have lost 11lbs, 2" off my waist, and an inch off my hips and thighs. But more importantly than that, I'm eating more than I ever have and I'm eating WELL. I'm fueling myself with good food and not just stuff I can throw in the microwave (even though I'm busier now then I ever have been) because Ryann has helped me learn what my body actually needs. I FEEL better. I'm not hungry all the time and food isn't something to be "earned or burned" through exercise. I can go out with my friends or my husband without spending my time worrying about the calories in the food or drinks I order. I'm lifting heavier, running further, and having more fun. My entire perspective on fitness has shifted from restricting and getting smaller to fueling myself and getting stronger. Ryann has been nothing but helpful and encouraging, with just the right amount of tough love. I am so, so grateful that I found her when I did! (I promise I'm a LOT happier than I look in my "after" phot - morning person, I am NOT).
