JESS SAXON
she/her
Jess was born and raised in Tennessee as a military brat. After graduating high school, she moved to New Hampshire for college where she majored in political science and communications, knowing her ultimate goal was to attend law school. She then attended law school in New Jersey and has been practicing law for over ten years.
Throughout every phase of her life, sport and fitness has been a major passion and priority. In high school, she was a triathlete in soccer, track, and cross country. In college, she found her love of going to the gym because she was no longer a part of an organized sport. In law school, she found CrossFit and fell in love with the concept of being strong. CrossFit then led her to weightlifting where she has competed ever since. Jess always understood that nutrition was important, battling gastroesophageal reflux with a neuropathic motility disorder since she was a baby, but really found her groove when she had to dive into what foods helped fuel her best while cutting weight for weightlifting competitions. She has been a nutrition coach since 2020, the same year she was crowned the 55kg USAW National Champion.
Her favorite part of nutrition coaching is getting people to eat enough food to serve them and their bodies and watch their relationship with food transform in a positive direction. In 2023, Jess changed her focus and started to fuel her body to get pregnant and in October of 2024, Jess welcomed her baby girl into the world.
